"There's no place like home....for the holidays..."

Unless, of course, you are living in a COVID hotspot and it takes a lot of travel time to get home.  COVID cases are surging in the Netherlands, as in other European countries, and even though I have an appointment for a booster next week, it just did not make sense to put myself at risk by coming home and putting everyone I would come into contact at risk as well.  So I am off to.........

Yes, Paris, for the holidays.  There will be a few other people from my class there as well, so I hope to get together with them, visit a few museums and hopefully get into some restaurants and cafes.  I will miss seeing my family and friends but I am excited about another adventure.

So Merry Christmas everyone!  My next post may be from Paris!
